This Thursday, June 23 will be the first of 7 FREE Arts in the Park Concerts.  Concerts will be 7pm - 9pm every Thursday, with concessions beginning at 6:00pm.  This Thursday's concert will be the Jim Markum Swing Band.

This is the 9th year for Arts in the Park concerts at Idlewood Park.  For the first 6 years, bands performed on a makeshift wooden stage built over an abandoned water fountain feature in the park.  The year 2014 debuted the beautiful Idlewood Arts Pavilion facility.

While the Idlewood Arts Pavilion (IAP) has always had some general downlighting to help performers see better as darkness fell, the 2016 concert series will feature new theatrical lighting which will allow the audience to see the performers better.

We hope you'll plan to join your friends and family each Thursday night for these free musical performances presented by the Morton Fine Arts Association, and made possible by our sponsors and by proceeds from our annual Fall/Winter Concert Series held at the Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center.
